Overview of Languages at Coolbellup CS
The Languages program Coolbellup Community School incorporates a range of instructional activities including various hands-on tasks and educational games.  The array of activities in the Indonesian language classroom will include speaking, listening, reading and writing as effective methods of second language learning.  Individual needs and learning styles are catered for using differentiated lessons and instructional strategies.
Languages Program Initiatives
SD2 Liligundi in Buleleng, Bali is our sister school through the Adopt-A-School program. We have successfully fundraised from 2014 to 2024, achieving a total of over $5980 to support SD2's learning initiatives both inside and outside of the classroom while improving our command of the Indonesian language and broadening our cultural awareness of the Balinese community.
With our best efforts in this new world we live in, we are endeavouring to continue our educational correspondence with SD2 Liligundi this year. Where we are able to, we will continue to fundraise. It is our target to hit our fundraising target of $500 each year with one fundraiser held each semester, led by our student leaders. Any parental/community help and/or suggestions are welcomed.
If you would like to visit SD2 Liligundi on your future trips to Bali, a tour of the school can be arranged.
