YouthCARE Chaplain
I’m Linn, a YouthCARE Chaplain at Coolbellup Community School since 2019.
My primary role as a Chaplain is offering support across the school community. Engaging with students, families and staff to help support social and emotional wellbeing. My focus is building community relationships to empower and assist individuals in need, offering pastoral care and a community links for referrals to required services. While respecting different values and belief systems, my emphasis as a Chaplain is to show compassion to those experiencing grief, loss, family breakdowns, peer issues and other life challenges.
As part of the school's well-being program, I meet with the students individually and in small groups. I'm involved in the Breakfast Club, run a lunchtime Chill-Out Club and provide Social and Emotional programs.
I am available Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8.00am-3.30pm and can be contacted through the school on (08) 9487 9500 or via email [email protected].
