School banking

IMG_6900School banking is a fantastic way to teach students good savings habits and help raise money for the school.

Getting started is easy – all students need is a Commonwealth Bank youth saver account, which can be opened online or at any Commonwealth Bank branch. Youth saver accounts attract a high interest rate on savings when used through school banking.

School banking is on a Tuesday morning in the community room from 8.15am, students will need to bring in their deposit book and money they would like to bank. Every time students deposit money they will receive a silver dollarmite token, which can be redeemed for dollarmite rewards when ten tokens are earned.

School Banking 2018

So good to see all the happy faces every week! Especially when they receive rewards for their banking.
Banking is every Tuesday from 8.15am in the Community Room and any time is a good time to start! Dollarmite Savers can even track their progress through an app. Term 2 rewards were the glow light and sparkle glitter pens. Stay tuned for extra prizes coming up during the year.

Super Savers Grand Prize Competition

Don’t forget! One lucky School Banker will win a family trip for up to two adults and three children to Hawaii, USA just by saving. Students will need to make 15 or more School Banking deposits before the end of Term 3, 2018 to automatically receive an entry into the competition.
